Inka Cresswell shares her passion for ocean conservationism on her Instagram and personal website. Not only is she an aquatic influencer and ocean conservationist but she is also a wildlife filmmaker, marine biologist, underwater photographer and tech diver.
In a blog for Only One, Inka contributed a piece entitled “6 Ways You Can Protect Ocean Life.” She wrote of the importance of learning about wildlife, donating to a good cause and signing petitions.
In the blog she wrote of the importance of inclusivity within her field saying, “Growing up as a girl of color, I never had role models I could identify with in my textbooks or on screen, which was incredibly discouraging. It’s vital that we challenge stereotypes so that people understand it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, anyone can be a part of the movement to protect the ocean and its inhabitants.”
