While not a traditional long form content creator, @benjaminthebaker is known for his short form baking instructional videos on TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts. In college, Benjamin was studying to become a math teacher while working shifts at bakeries. Today, he adds a scientific approach to his cooking videos, not just advising viewers how to bake but explaining the reasoning behind baking conventions.
His motto is “Breaking down baking recipes to show you the most common mistakes and how to avoid them. Then once you've mastered the recipes, how to change the ingredients and procedures to customize them to your taste.” If you’re curious on the why behind recipes and want to learn how to customize your own recipes, benjaminthebaker is a great channel to learn from.
Currently, benjaminthebaker is a fast growing baking channel with 336k subscribers, a 18.73% increase from last month. His other metrics also show growth across the board, including a 151.58% increase in average views this year. German home cook Tatyana (not to be confused with YouTuber Tatyana Nesteruk) has made quite a following since creating her YouTube channel in July 2021. Have an allergy or specific dietary restrictions? This is probably the channel for you. She has recipes without egg, butter, wheat, or sugar.
Home cooking has no dialogue. Instead, viewers are treated to subtitled instructions and the ASMR-like sounds of baking. Tatyana’s audience is truly all over the world.
