For these influencers, it seems 2023 is going to be a huge catalyst for their growth and success in the beauty sphere. Here are some of the fastest growing beauty influencers on Instagram to get you ahead of this year’s trends.
@sawsansayedofficial
First up we have Sawsan El Sayed-- also known as Sousou-- a journalist and TV presenter from Lebanon. She lives in Beirut, where she can often be found presenting at one of three television stations: Télé Liban, Heya TV, or Arab American Television.
While working just outside the beauty sphere, Sousou still manages to make the list for the fastest growing beauty influencers on Instagram. She often posts photos of her hair and makeup looks, completed by makeup artists, and advertised on her page. With her high-profile occupation, it is no surprise that her account has grown such strides in the past six months.
Statistically speaking, El Sayed’s Instagram account has grown from a mere 800,000 followers in August to a current 1.2 million. Her likes have since doubled from 5,000 to 10,000 over the same time frame. Many of these interactions have stemmed from India, the source of 28% of her audience base. The influencer has even reached other popular names in Lebanon, like Jenny Esber and Ahlame Hajji Off, who currently follow her social media profile.

If you’re looking for a more traditional beauty influencer on this list, it’s going to be Rohit Sachdeva. He’s an influencer who deals mostly in skin and haircare videos, both on his personal Instagram and YouTube accounts. Owner of storefront S-Care Cosmetics in North Delhi, Sachdeva is well versed in the beauty industry and is quickly making a name for himself both in Delhi and outwards.
Starting out at a meager 2,000 followers in August, Sachdeva’s account has grown exponentially since. The influencer is now hosting over 350,000 users on their skincare journeys, 97% of which are located in India. If you’re looking to find the latest tips on how to remove dark circles or hair mask recipes, Rohit Sachdeva is the name to look to.
Rohit’s likes have increased from a 120 average to 8,500 in a short six-month window. Of these likes are mostly individuals aged 25-34, which makes up well over half of the influencer’s audience base.

Freelance makeup artist, model, and blogger Shreya Soni Patel is the next beauty influencer we’ll feature today. She often posts photos of her personal work on Instagram, featuring striking eye makeup with her signature selfie to coincide. She regularly posts reels of before and after makeup transformations, as well as recreations of looks found online.
Patel currently holds a total of 296,000 followers, which is a huge leap from the 113,000 once held in August. Most of her audience is located in India, which is where the influencer is based. Concentration wise, many of these individuals are located in cities Mumbai and Delhi.
Perhaps one of the most important aspects of an influencer’s reach is affiliating themselves with well-known and established brands. This is something that Patel is not a stranger to, featuring affinity with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Huda Beauty, and MAC Cosmetics. She uses a number of hashtags on each of her posts, increasing her reach and garnering additional attention on the explore page. Her most popular hashtags are #youtubers, #bbloggers and #nykaabeauty.
@marwaghazy.makeup.artist
Marwa Ghazy is a professional makeup artist from Egypt who specializes in weddings, photoshoots, and engagements. On her Instagram is an array of photographs from these events, featuring a number of looks presenting stunning shimmery eyeshadow and highlight.
Ghazy’s statistics are especially telling of her success as a makeup artist, growing from less than 175,000 followers in August to a current high of nearly 220,000. As an influencer based in Egypt, it’s unsurprising that 86.8% of her followers are from the country. This is followed by 2.6% of followers in Saudi Arabia, and less than 1% from the United States.
Some of her brand affinities include Christian Dior, GIVENCHY, and Kiko. These, as well as her notable followers Haya B Ebrahim and Amira Sabry, help Marwa garner a large audience base.
